After 15 days of celibacy, I broke rule number 3 today morning, by 'taking care' of myself. So, the count starts again, with today being day 2.0 - 2 stands for the second attempt at being celibate, 0 represents the day of rule-breaking. Tomorrow will be counted as the actual first day of celibacy.
It was not a moment of some irresistible temptation nor did I have to put up any heroic fight before giving in. I gave in to an urge as easily as a nicotine addict would give in to just one more pull of the cigarette. Perhaps, there is a lesson here from addicts who try to withdraw - they are advised to substitute something else during the times when they get the urge to give in to their addictions. Something to think about...
